The Person Behind It

About Ricardo

The story behind my gaming world, and the software I build on the side.

My Story

A Lifelong Gamer, A Part-Time Developer

I've been gaming for as long as I can remember. From picking up a controller for the first time to building out a full PC setup, games have always been more than entertainment — they're worlds I get genuinely lost in.

Along the way, curiosity turned into a second passion: software development. I built real tools and shared most of them open source on GitHub. From 2027 on, the controller is back in the lead, and development is something I do when it feels right.

The Journey — Gaming

How My Gaming World Started

Gaming didn't start as a hobby — it grew into a genuine passion over time.

Chapter 01

The Beginning

My love for gaming started with classic titles like GTA: San Andreas and Saints Row 2. I was immediately drawn in by the freedom and creative chaos these games offered — no two play sessions were ever the same.

Chapter 02

Expanding Horizons

Over the years my tastes expanded into RPGs, survival games, and competitive shooters. I also grew to appreciate the artistry and storytelling behind modern game design — games as a genuine art form.

Chapter 03

Where I Am Now

Today I own a diverse library across five platforms. I enjoy both solo adventures and multiplayer sessions with friends, always on the lookout for the next game to sink hours into.

Motivation

Why I Game

Gaming means something different to everyone. Here's what it means to me.

Stress Relief

Gaming helps me unwind after a long day. Losing myself in a good game is the best way to reset mentally and recharge.

Creativity

Games like Minecraft and Satisfactory let me express creativity by designing and building elaborate worlds from scratch.

Social Connection

Multiplayer games keep me connected with friends even when we're physically apart. GTA Online, Fortnite, Valorant — it's quality time online.

Challenge

Few things beat the satisfaction of overcoming a tough challenge — whether it's a difficult boss fight or mastering complex mechanics.

The Next Chapter — 2027

A New Balance

Development is no longer my full-time passion. Gaming and my own life come first, and the software keeps going at a calmer pace.

Gaming Comes First

I am refocusing on gaming, my library and my own life. More time playing, less time behind the editor.

Everything Stays Maintained

Every project that exists today stays maintained. It just happens at a slower pace than before.

New Things Keep Coming

New products and open-source software will still be released. I am not fully retiring, I am just no longer going all in.

A Calmer Rhythm

Expect an update maybe once or twice a month, or once every two months. That is not certain yet.

01

GTA V

The game that never gets old. Whether playing the story or causing chaos in GTA Online with friends, it's always a blast.

02

04

Assassin's Creed Origins

Ancient Egypt brought to life in stunning detail. The story, world design, and gameplay are all top-tier.

05

Satisfactory

Surprisingly addictive factory-building on an alien planet. The perfect game to relax and build something massive.

The Journey — Coding

How I Got Into Coding

Coding never started as a career plan. It grew next to the gaming, and from 2027 it steps back to a calmer pace.

01

Getting Started

Picked up coding out of curiosity and never really stopped — every new project became a new excuse to learn something.

02

3+ Years In

Now with 3+ years of hands-on experience, building real tools instead of just following tutorials.

03

Going Open Source

Started publishing projects publicly on GitHub, so other developers can use, learn from, and contribute to the code too. Open source keeps going in 2027, at a calmer pace.
